What We Bought:
Heather Hoch The baby purple artichokes hail from Cali, but the rest is strictly local.
The small locally-focused market attached to the new FnB location off of Fifth Avenue in Old Town Scottsdale is pretty much a who's who of Phoenician wares. Handmade marshmallows ($5) and bacon brittle ($7.50) from Sweet Republic are a must have for sugar junkies. Every good foodie knows bee pollen is in, so grab a jar of McClendon's Select bee pollen while you're there too to add a kick to summer salads. We're also pretty wild about the deli selection of in-house made pasta salad ($5), tzatziki ($4) and egg salad ($3)-- for that FnB flavor on the go. Plus, who can say no to baby purple artichokes ($5/pound)? They're as adorable as they are tasty.
