Top Five Phoenix Food Stories of the Week
Every week, there's a cornucopia of Phoenix food news, features, and reviews to report here at Chow Bella. If you're like most people, you probably just don't have the time to get to all of it. So, here's a recap of some of the top stories from the week that you may have missed.
Where do cheaters like to cheat when they want a meal with their extramarital rendezvous?
According to a survey conducted by AshleyMadison.com, a hook-up site for married people looking to cheat, creepers follow the creeper code of "don't shit where you eat," or in this case, "don't f*ck around at your favorite neighborhood eatery" when it comes to selecting restaurants.
In the infidelity website's survey of 42,890 of their members in major American cities, they found their cheaters prefer their trysts take place at popular chain restaurants that are at least 20 miles from their homes.

This week we introduce a new, occasional wine column by one of the best-known Arizona winemakers, Sam Pillsbury. Welcome to Spillsbury.
When managing editor Amy Silverman asked me to write for Chow Bella and New Times, I had to stop and think how that was going to work. I think that will evolve. I want to excite interest in all Arizona wines. It's my dream that we might all be one big, happy family. To that end I hope to explore our region with my fellow winemakers and growers, and examine what makes us original, different, and sometimes truly excellent!
(Disclaimer: I am no expert. I thought I knew a lot about wine 14 years ago. I now realize I know squat. I just have my opinion.)
So, Amy asked that question people tend to ask: "What is a New Zealand filmmaker doing making wine in Arizona?"
It may have gotten off to a rocky start, but Chris Bianco's Italian Restaurant has been earning rave reviews from local foodists for many months now. Problem was: Only hardcore food folks made the connection between the generic name and the famous pizza guy behind it.
So Bianco, an inveterate tweak-till-you-get-it-right kind of person, is changing Italian Restaurant's name to Trattoria Bianco, moving that piece of the operation to the dining room at the back of the Italian Restaurant space.
