Caramelpalooza 2013: Wanna Be a Judge?!
With just a week to go before the fourth annual Caramelpalooza, the candy makers are busy boiling sugar and over here at Chow Bella, we're tightening up the dental work in anticipation.

What about you? Do you have your tasting tickets yet? Get 'em quick online or wait til the night of. Or -- enter our contest to join the official judging panel for this year's Caramelpalooza.
In years past, we've chosen judges for Chow Bella's food contests based on your poetry skills -- specifically, we've asked for limericks or haiku. This time we're opening the door wide.
Write us a poem in whatever style you choose -- including free verse -- and our favorite will win you a spot as an official judge for Caramelpalooza 2013.
Here are the rules:
First, before you enter, be sure you are free between 6 and 7 p.m. on Friday, April 5 and that you don't work for any of the participating chefs.
Then write your poem -- the only rule is that you must mention the word "caramel" -- and email it to Amy Silverman at firstname.lastname@example.org by noon on Tuesday, April 2 with the subject line: Caramelpalooza 2013 Poetry Contest.
We'll notify the winner the following day.
Smeeks and Chow Bella's fourth annual Caramelpalooza will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, April 5, at UNION at Biltmore Fashion Park in Phoenix.
