Quick Service Pan-Asian Restaurant Chain from Canada Opens First Store in Arizona
When it comes to fast casual Asian eats served up chain-restaurant style, you would have thought the Valley would be full up thanks to the nearly 20 locations of Pei Wei Asian Diners. Not so.

Late last month, Wok Box, a new quick-service chain of pan-Asian cuisine that launched in Canada in 2003, opened its first Arizona store at 15807 North Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard (FLW and Pima Road) in North Scottsdale.
Here's what diners can expect.
Featuring "freshly cooked, quick and healthy pan-Asian cuisine," Wok Box's GMO-free menu offers patrons stir-fry noodle boxes, rice boxes, curry boxes, soups, and appetizers inspired by a wide variety of Asian influences. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available for dine-in or take-out.

Signature items include breaded crispy chicken and rice ($8.29), Korean Firecracker noodles made with a spicy sauce, bacon, veggies, kimchi, and nori ($8.29), and a marinated grilled steak bahn mi sandwich ($5.99). There are also curries ($8.29), a Vietnamese beef pho ($6..99), miso ramen ($6.99), and small bites like samosas ($4.49), curry green beans ($3.99), and chicken gyoza ($4.99).
Wok Box currently operates around 60 locations worldwide. Its next Arizona location is planned for Gilbert in the upcoming months.
