Tis' the season of the grilled sandwich -- or at least, it would seem. We've got L.A.'s famous grillin' mobile, a grilled cheese throwdown and now, yet another grilled sandwich truck. That's right, the Valley's original grilled sandwich food truck has chosen now as the time to make a return to the street food scene.

This time around the Paradise Melts food truck has new owners, a new menu and big goals.

The new owners, two Brophy High School grads, say they're awaiting approval from the Phoenix food truck coalition but plan on joining several of the coalition events in the future. Both young owners are Arizona-born who left their jobs in finance for gigs with more ties to their community. While their ultimate goal is to have a scheduled weekly route, they've yet to nail down their official launch date and location.

As for the menu, this time around owner R. Blaise Biller says they're aiming to be a truly "gourmet food truck:"

We are extremely excited about pushing to be a true gourmet food truck. Our ingredients range from veal Demi Glace Caramelized onions, avocado cream sauce, basil pesto aioli to breads and meats sourced locally.

Though Biller's not a professional chef, he says he's borrowed recipes from friends who are and is confident he and his partner have the skills to make it in the biz.

You can view their entire menu on the Paradise Melts website. It features a small selection of gourmet grilled sandwiches as well as a "create-you-own" option with cheeses and sides such as Aged Cheddar, Triple Creme Brie, Truffle Mustard and Prosciutto or Speck.

Biller says they're tentatively hoping to make their debut at the ASU food truck lunch on Wednesday, February 13. The event takes place every week from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the corner of Forest and Sixth Street north of Tempe's ASU campus.

I have tried the AZGC and the French Onion soup grilled cheese and I was blown away by how delicious they were.  I ate them both in one sitting. Wanted more.
