For this first event, you may need sunscreen. Arizona Stronghold Vineyards' 2nd Annual Spring Palate Training is March 10 at Salt River Fields. "ASV" is moving into a party deck at the park where wine educator Justin Ove will lead guests through an hour-long palate training with five of ASV's wines. Then, you'll have lunch and can stay to watch the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. the Colorado Rockies from VIP seating. Cost is $70 for ASV wine club members $85, non-members $85. Tickets can be purchased at azstronghold.com.

FnB's "Whole Hog Dinner," on March 12 at their new location, features a whole hog (obviously in a "Caja China" given to FnB by their "good friend" Jose Antonio Menendez served with some of rosès and pinot noirs.
Chances are you haven't been to a classier pig roast. The cost is $75++ and you can make reservations by calling 480-425-9463.
