What We Bought:
Heather Hoch Jars of goodies, green granola and Gilbert produce.
The Gilbert Farmer's Market had a pretty modest showing last weekend, maybe because of the chilly breeze, but we're still fans because of its proximity to Liberty Market. As far as fresh, local produce goes, you have to buy from Agritopia while you're at the GFM because the fruits and veggies are grown about a mile down the road--doesn't get much more local than that.
For energy while browsing, we grabbed a chew this bar ($4) from Seize the Fork. The super healthy granola bar is packed with apples, cranberries and oodles of greens made from their super powders--it's full of good stuff, but still tastes sweet. Next we raided the Made By Bees stand, where Private Stock Orange Blossom Raw Honey ($14) blended with its comb and Prickly Pear Butter ($8.50) are only two of the tasty things we just had to have this week.
