Readying the first batch of Cartel beer.
After waiting nearly a year for its federal microbrewery license, Cartel Coffee Lab in Tempe can now brew suds right along with its top-notch coffee.

Appropriately enough, Cartel's new craft beer selection will debut at this year's Arizona Beer Week, specifically, from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, February 16, at the Strong Brew Fest at Steele Indian School Park.

And for those who miss the de-brew, the suds will be regularly flowing from the Tempe microbrewery in late February.

Then there's something called "Crazy Hour."

At its location in Scottsdale only, Cartel's introducing Crazy Hour. From 5 to 6 p.m. daily, hopheads can score $2 drafts from craft breweries like Four Peaks, Oskar Blues, and Green Flash as well as limited time specials on snacks.
