Get your medicine -- then take it -- with a fresh-squeezed fruit juice.
When grocery stores started their own prescription services, they looked a little more like pharmacies. And now, the pharmacies, specifically, Illinois-based Walgreens, are looking a little more like grocery stores -- and food trucks.

It's true. The same place you can get nana's disposable camera photos developed, buy a Justin Bieber singing toothbrush, and refill your totally not fake prescription of Adderall, will now feature fresh produce, smoothies, and barista-made coffee at four, newly renovated Phoenix Walgreens.

And the nation's largest drugstore chain is bringing its new freshness to Phoenicians via (what else?) a food truck, er, food bus.

Walgreens "Up Market: Fresh" Experience is not only a name clearly created by a committee, its a custom-made, 40-foot bus that will visit each of the four Walgreens Well Experience locations between from Saturday, December 8, through Tuesday, December 11.

What's on board? Free samples of fresh-made juices like "Go Green", a blend of cucumber, kale, celery, green apple, and lemon; a smoothie made from raspberries, strawberries, bananas, and apple cider called Raspberry Dream; and coffees brewed with "fresh roasts and barista quality techniques."

Miss the bus or just want to visit one of the recently opened Walgreens' Well Experience stores for yourself? They're located at:

- 3402 North Central Avenue, Phoenix
- 3960 East Chandler Avenue, Phoenix
- 5101 West Indian School Road, Phoenix
- 3605 East Thomas Road, Phoenix

I was wondering what was going on. Went into the one on Chandler Blvd to grab a greeting card and they now have barely any, just half an aisle. Funny enough, I had to go across the street to the actual grocery store to get one instead.
