BN Health is hosting its first-ever Herbal Elixir Mixer this Friday at Bud's Glass Joint in Downtown Phoenix. BN Health's Elixir Mixer will give guests the chance to sample all-natural beverages like herbal sodas, herbal chocolate elixirs, as well as snacks like superfood macaroons. Live music will be provided by local act, Contradiktion, and guest speakers will be available to offer their expertise on venturing into a more herbal lifestyle. Tickets are $10 at the door, $5 in advance. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the Herbal Elixir Mixer Facebook event.

Tammie Coe Peach blueberry pie
That New Year's resolution hasn't started just yet, so why not indulge with one last hurrah at the newest addition to the Tammie Coe (and MJ Bread) family. The bakery, which opened at 5210 North Central Avenue (next-door to Federal Pizza) on December 21, will offer the same buttered and frosted confections that you've come to love (to the point of regret) as well as MJ's artisan breads, and cups of Joe from Lux Coffee. For more information visit Tammie Coe Cakes on Facebook.
