During the holidays, empresses of ice cream Helen Yung and Jan Wichayanuparp turn out dreamy ice cream pies, each boasting a made-from-scratch waffle crust and fresh whipped cream. Nine-inch pies, which feed six to eight people, cost $22. Individual slices go for $4.50. Flavors include:
Pumpkin Spice (pumpkin ice cream cooked with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom and allspice, drizzled with salted butter caramel sauce)
Maple Pecan (maple ice cream studded with crunchy, maple syrup-roasted local pecans)
Huckleberry Swirl (Madagascar vanilla ice cream with swirls of Oregon wild huckleberries)
Cinnamon Apple (Madagascar vanilla ice cream filled with Granny Smith apples roasted in brown sugar, butter and cinnamon, topped with salted butter caramel sauce)
Grasshopper (mint chip ice cream made with organic mint leaves, topped with a drizzle of house-made dark fudge)
