Two New Brunches Hit the Valley in October: Mastro's Gets Its First (Bloody Mary Bar!), Lon's Updates Theirs With Outdoor Marketplace

The Hermosa Inn & LON's
Monkey Bread
With fall (finally) in the air, so are the aromas of two new brunch offerings from upscale restaurants Lon's at the Hermosa in Paradise Valley and Mastro's Steakhouse in North Scottsdale.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, and continuing every second Saturday of the month until April of next year, Lon's is adding an outdoor marketplace to its patio brunch. Called Brunch & Bazaar, the event invites brunch-biting guests to experience cooking demos and $5 tastings from chef Jeremy Pacheco, pastry chef Trevor Tucker, and cocktail guru Travis Nass. Local foodstuffs from purveyors such as Crow's Dairy and McClendon Farms will be available for purchase along with items from the restaurant's kitchen like housemade granola, herbal truffles, and Himalayan salt rocks.

And if you like yourself a good ol' brunch-time Bloody Mary, you're gonna like what Mastro's has in store.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Sunday, October 14, Mastro's, Scottsdale's high-end steakhouse, will be introducing a new Sunday brunch featuring breakfast and lunch dishes and endless morning cocktails for $55 a person.

Plus, along with mimosas and a special champagne menu for the day, Mastro's will offer a Bloody Mary bar with 20 different items to choose from.

Here's the brunch menu:

Assortment of Stations
Carving station with prime New York strip, roasted chicken, seafood tower, sushi station, and dessert station (featuring all homemade desserts).

Traditional Breakfast
Waffles with an assortment of berries, omelets with veggies and crab, traditional or crab eggs Benedict, and bacon and sausage.

Side Dishes
Assorted fruits and vegetables, salads, soups, cheeses, garlic or signature lobster mashed potatoes, muffins, and bagels.

Reservations are recommended for both restaurants.
