First-Ever Chile Pepper Festival on Roosevelt Row Promises to Bring the Heat
The First Annual Chile Pepper Festival is upon us, people. September 29, this coming Saturday, Roosevelt Row will celebrate the beloved chile in all forms roast, dried, cooked and fried. And in case you were more or less hesitant about attending an event that would undoubtedly leave a fire in your mouth, allow us to light a fire under your ass, by giving you an in depth look at this one-day-only affair. 
Roosevelt Row CDC Chile Pepper Festival Barrio Cafe will be serving up Chiles En Nogada - " stuffed roasted poblano peppers with chicken, nuts, apricots, apples, pears in a tomato red wine sauce then topped with an almond cream sauce, pomegranate seeds cilantro and queso fresco"
