From now 'til we publish the 2012 edition of Best of Phoenix, New Times and Chow Bella present 100 Tastemakers -- Valley residents who make the cut in our culinary scene. Some you'll know; for others, it'll be a first introduction (but likely not the last). While you're here, check out our 100 Creatives on Jackalope Ranch.

Today: a guy with a long pour.

Richie Moe brings an arsenal of bartending tools, 15 years of experience behind the bar, and a lifetime of restaurant and industry background to Citizen Public House as chief mixologist and partner. Moe and executive chef Bernie Kantak have created an inventive menu of artfully formulated dishes with cocktails to match. Check out Citizen R+D, Moe's "research and development" speakeasy-style lab tucked away above the restaurant to taste the latest and greatest from the one of Phoenix's most imaginative mixologists...if you can find the door, that is.

I arrived in Phoenix with... my family in 1997, from Chicago. At the time I was pretty unsure of my path in life.

If I was sitting down to dinner for six, my five dream dining companions would be... my girlfriend, Tara; my parents, Dick and Ann; my sister, Gina; and my business partners, Bernie and Andrew. I think that's six people, though. I guess I'll stand.

One place everyone who comes to Phoenix must eat is... T. Cooks at the Royal Palms. The place seems magical to me. The ambiance is a perfect blend of vintage pueblo and Southwest. The beautiful foliage adds another element and let's not forget about chef Lee Hillson and his team's food. The service there is always spectacular.

One menu item this city could do without is... Prickly Pear Margarita. In my opinion, it's overdone.

My last meal in Phoenix would be... Omakase menu at Roka Akor. I'd eat anything they put in front of me!
