Do you crave long hours, low pay, and near-constant verbal abuse while you're filmed under unflattering lights? Then, boy, does Fox have a job offer for you!

Celebrity chef and professional firebrand Gordon Ramsay has a new season of Hell's Kitchen coming out, and a casting call for his show is open until June 30. We can only imagine that the show's producers are looking for cooks willing to be verbally berated by an angry badger of a man and who will either work harder or have a complete mental breakdown on national television.

Are you a Valley chef thinking of trying out? Maybe you should mentally prepare yourself with the following:

Interestingly enough, applicants can actually post profiles and be voted on by the public. However, the site is quick to point out though that a mountain of votes is no guarantee of a seat on the show.

Getting paid by being yelled at for making a mistake in the kitchen is a great job. Gonna eat his words and take the money.

Gordon is a good dude...and he pours money into America via the productions and various GR eateries in LA, LV and NYC. The early shows were good, but, like all reality shows post second or third season, the drama is scripted BS that is as fake as the crabmeat. As a chef, GR is much more legit that that drunkard American (with British teeth) Anthony Bourdain…Or that spoiled lazy brat Rocco DiSpirito.

Stay thirsty my friends...

I would take that pencil he has over his left ear in the picture and snatch it with my hand and stab him in his eyes with his own sharp pencil. thats how its dont in prison. im pretty sure he is not hip to that type of anger and violence. he better watch ou cause that pencil is a weapon and some body he yells at might just use it on him one day.

If that English faggot yelled at me I would smash his rotten green teeth out of his head with my fist. then I would bust his nose bloody broke with my fist. I think that would nip the yelling  anger problem he has in the bud for good. after he met me he would be cured of his loud faggy English anger problem.

Bend over and let Gordon shove his faggot cock deep down into your tight dirty asshole is a good place to start.

Good dudes do not yell at others over something like cooking. yelling at others is a form of verbal violence and disrespect to the person being yelled at. Gordon has an anger problem and is suffering from some sort of mental problem. just cause he pours money into whatever does not make him sane or a nice guy. if he were poor and unknown he would just be a poor mean guy who yells at others alot. I bet JT READY the neo nazi was also a guy who yelled often AT OTHERS and look where his anger got him and others. they are all murdered and or dead now.

I don't know what you consider "legit", but Bourdain was a working chef for a LONG time before the book came out, nearly 30 years.  Not an "Empire" builder Exec like Ramsay, but an in-the-trenches, call in the fish order type.  If you're in the business, you know the difference.  That's a hell of a lot of Fri/Sat rushes and that's as legit as you get.

The way Ramsay treats people just to make a few $ makes it hard for to believe he's a "good dude".  He's done more harm than good to the industry, imo.

I never said GR worked harder... just much more of a chef than Bourdain who was 1/2 line cook 1/2 Le Cordon Bleu 90 day wonder. If you see Ramsey in a non-scritped, HK setting...He treats people pretty good. GR is 1/2 a horse's ass also...but a pretty good dude @ the same time.

You don't really believe the angry chopper builders script do you? It just sells ads and ratings.

Bourdain has a much better show-concept because it incorporates travel and culture into each episode - keeping the series fresh. The Ramsay shows recycle the previous, just different faces being yelled at -  I would say GR shows are long in the tooth - but then I am reminded the Kardashians is in it's 7th season.

I just think the angry asshole Ramsay is played out. I've seen another one of his shows, where he had the best restaurants in England compete against each other, and that was actually really good. I mean he's not necessarily a nice guy when he's helping the teams but it wasn't so... over the top and in my opinion fake.

As to who is the better cook I have no idea. I've only ever seen Bourdain eat food and speak intelligently on it and for that I appreciate his show. I've only ever seen Ramsay shout at people to stop being terrible cooks/managers. I think they're two very different beasts.
