6. Singh Farms -- Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., owners Lee and Ken Singh open up their sustainable farm for the locally grown produce loving public. Gorgeous shades of orange, yellow, green, and red veggies grace the tables alongside cartons of fresh eggs, pretty pickled radishes, and Singh farms-made apple butter, chili oil and other canned delights. The Singhs import a couple items from around town like MJ's fresh baked breads, flour and dry grains from The Hayden Flour Mill, and apple cider from Wilcox. If you get hungry, the farm cooks up a special lunch every week which is available for around $5. In the fall months, the farm even puts their very best compost up for sale.
5. Super Farm Market at Superstition Farms -- It's indoors, it's on a real live dairy farm, and there's a petting zoo. A PETTING ZOO! Every Thursday evening from 4 til 7 p.m., stock up on fresh produce, natural grass fed beef, sustainable seafood, honey galore, and fresh baked breads. Aside from the cute animals and the great farmers' market finds, we also don't mind the trek to Mesa because we know there is ice cream at the end of the road -- Udder Delights ice cream and butter and farmers cheese. Yum!
4. The Camelback Market at Vincents -- Saturday mornings are hopping in the front parking lot of Vincents on Camelback. This farmers' market is small in size but fierce in flavor. The vendors may be limited but their offerings are unique and include gulten free baked goods, an Irish mustard maker, and beautiful produce from Duncan's Trading Co. But the main attraction at this market is the fresh made sandwiches, the savory crepes, the wood fired pizzas and the boozy mimosas.
