Burger King Rolling Out Food Trucks Because Of Course
Whether it's decided to jump its throned-ass on the bandwagon of a peaking trend or still smarting from being bumped out of its number two fast food spot by Wendy's, Burger King has announced it will roll out forty of its own food trucks throughout various cities starting today.
Intended to get folks to sample its new menu, which includes Mc-Donald's-copying items like smoothies, snack wraps, frappes, and crispy chicken strips -- all apparently rife with the strong smell of desperation -- the King ain't sayin' which cities its forty food trucks will appear in, but according to the Gothamist, New York City Council members have already asked the fast food giant to please stay the hell out of the Big Apple.
Will the King's road show make its way into the Valley? We'll have to wait and see, but one thing's for sure: having it our way has officially hit the road.
