Seamus McCaffrey's Irish Pub & Restaurant
Hours: Seamus McCaffrey's is open until 2 a.m. every night and serves food until midnight.
We're told this is where the real, hardcore old-timers go to drink. But you can get some traditional Irish eats too. Try the Shepherd's Pie or the crunchy-fried fish and chips. We go back for the corned beef and cabbage, served with boiled potatoes just like Gramma O'Hara used to make.

Turf Irish Pub
Hours: Turf is open until 2 a.m. every night and serves food until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
The old timers might have stools named after them at Seamus McCaffery's, but you can get some great food at Turf too. The loaded potato skins and chicken Philly are two of my personal favorites. Last I looked they didn't have the chicken Philly on the menu, but just ask for it, and don't forget the jalapenos.

The Roosevelt Tavern
Hours: Sunday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday 5 p.m. - 12 a.m., Friday and Saturday 5 p.m. - 2 a.m.
Roosevelt Tavern is the place to go for traditional bar food. Some of our favorites that you can find on the menu include gourmet hot dogs, an amazing hot pretzel with two kinds of mustard, homemade dips with chips, and wonderful tomato soup with a crispy grilled cheese. But keep in mind the kitchen closes at 11 p.m., so you better get your food early.

Rose & Crown
Hours: Monday - Saturday 11 a.m. - 2 a.m., Sunday 10 a.m. - 2 a.m.
You can get more than great beer at Rose & Crown. Being directly across the parking lot from Pizzeria Bianco has made it to step up its food game. You can find some traditional British pub food like the Poutines, (which one reader pointed out actually originated in Quebec) deep fried potato chips smothered in cheese and brown gravy. There are also plenty of burgers and entrees to choose from. Food in served until 10 p.m. on the weekdays and midnight on the weekends.
