That's a Wrap! Gets Unwrapped For New Dinner Offerings

Soy-ginger flank steak with quinoa-garbanzo salad and house slaw.
Last Saturday, CenPho's That's a Wrap!, the lunch spot specializing in good-for-you wraps, salads, and rice bowls, announced it would be soft launching a new dinner menu sans the tortilla coverings.

Aptly titled "Unwrapped," the new dinner menu starts after 5 p.m. and will focus on six healthy-themed plates between $8.25 and $11.25 (the new dishes will be introduced one or two at a time, so all may not be available.)

Read on for the full unwrapped dinner menu and my first impressions.

Marinated portobello mushroom.
My soy-ginger flank steak was perfectly prepared and had a wonderfully unexpected mildly spicy flavor along with a touch of sweetness. Sides of quinoa-garbanzo salad and house slaw were satisfying, as well. The marinated grilled portobello mushroom, sometimes a risky order if unfamiliar with the skills of the kitchen, was well-prepared and "meaty" enough to satisfy any vegetarian -- especially with its hint of garlic and soy sauce. Covered in chimmichuri rice atop a house salad, it proved a successful plate.

If all of the new dinner offerings at That's a Wrap! turn out to be as tasty as the two I sampled, patrons of this CenPho eatery are in for a nice, affordable, p.m. outing of the unwrapped kind.

What do you say, That's a Wrap! biters? Have you had the new unwrapped dinners yet? What did you think?

That's A Wrap is one of my favorite spots for lunch. After seeing their sign about the new dinner menu I tried it the other night and was super happy with the dinner (I had the flank steak).I will definitely be heading back to try their other new items as they come out!

Ate there last night and loved it. Carol Blonder has done wonders. Looks to me like it will be a great spot for take out this summer when it's too hot to cook. Hope they take a crack at overhauling their regular menu as well.
