First Press Arizona is throwing its 10th live fine wine auction and dinner on February 11 at Kierland Resort and Spa to benefit KJZZ's Youth Media Center.

The smart and witty Peter Sagal, of NPR's game show Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!, will be the evening's host. Guests will live it up with live entertainment, a 5-course meal and a live auction of rare vintages, culinary experiences and vacation packages.

Which Arizona wineries will be there and a fantastic video about KJZZ's Youth Media Center (with sample student work) after the jump...

Over 30 wineries, including Arizona's own Pillsbury Wine Company and Dos Cabezas Winery, will be represented for the evening. Robert Craig of Robert Craig Wineries serving as honorary chair.

Tickets are $250. Pretty steep, but funds raised benefit Friends of Public Radio Arizona and KJZZ's Youth Media Center. The program was founded in 2007, and is "an educational outreach program designed to mentor at-risk high school students in the areas of broadcast journalism and digital media production." It pairs these young adults with "experienced KJZZ reporters for a hands-on training opportunity in writing and producing public radio stories." These are stories about what these at-risk students are experiencing at home and at school. This program helps them find their voice.

Here's a little video about the Youth Media Center:
