Got a special someone on your holiday shopping list who needs a little love and a lot of chocolate? How about a gift that turns the mouth-watering sweet treat into a delectable experience?
Consider "A Chocoate Affair" at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort.
Held every Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon, the class takes place in the resort's Champs Kitchen, the training ground for the World Pastry Team Championship. There, executive pastry chef Kaushik Chowdhury and his National Pastry Champions will talk chocolate selection, demonstrate processes, and create a hands-on cooking with chocolate experience.
The price for the class is $45 and includes breakfast at the Blue Sage restaurant. Attendees will take home recipes, a chocolate creation or two, and a souvenir apron. For more info, go here. To make reservations, contact the resort's concierge desk at 480-293-3988.
