It's about time to say adios to 2011, and after a year like this,
we could use every bit of good luck to start off the new year with a bang. Even though we aren't from the South, we are more than willing to celebrate New Year's Eve with a heaping pile of black eyed peas. A scoop of black eyed peas alongside some collards, cornbread, and other soul food staples is also a solid way to
chase away the hangover demons on New Year's Day.
Get 'em while they're hot!
Get (more) peas on earth after the jump.
TEXAZ Grill diners will be getting a pile of black eyed peas with every entree on New Year's Eve, open from 11 am to 10 pm.
Stacy's Smokehouse has black eyed peas on their regular menu, and will be open New Year's Eve until 4pm for those that need a bit of luck with their lunch.
