Trophy's Steakhouse Hosts Ballast Point Beer Dinner

What happens when some of San Diego's premier craft beers are paired with the (RAWR!) wildness of the Midwest? Only twenty people get to find out.

At 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 28, Trophy's, the "hunter's steakhouse" in Queen Creek owned by big-game hunter Kevin Dettler, will be pairing meat, fish, cheese, and dessert with six beers from Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits in San Diego.

Amid the company of animal trophies from mountain sheep, to a puma, to lots and lots of bears, twenty guests will have the opportunity to enjoy adventurous dishes like bison smoked sausage, Brazilian wild boar salad, and roasted Muscovy duck, each paired with a premier craft beer.

The beer dinner event at Trophy's Steakhouse in Queen Creek at 6:30 p.m., Friday, October 28, is $45 a person with a limit of twenty attendees.
