Stephanie Izard's Goat Tour: Scottsdale Tickets Still Available

​Hey Phoenix, are you excited that quasi-local majorly-talented national celeb chef Stephanie Izard is coming to town this weekend? We are. We bet her parents are, too -- they live in Scottsdale. 

Izard's been absolutely rockin' the the foodosphere since her Top Chef Season 4 win. She is the chef/partner of Chicago's Girl and the Goat, which was nominated for a James Beard "Best New Restaurant" award and she was also recently selected as one of the Best New Chefs in 2011 by Food & Wine. This lady is on fire and she's headed our way.

This Saturday she'll be signing books at the Arizona Taco Festival and Sunday is the private dinner at The Accidental Yard in Scottsdale. Izard's bringing some of her friends to help her in the kitchen, guest chefs Beau MacMillan of Sanctuary Resort on Camelback Mountain and Randy Zweiban of Province, as well as sommelier Dave Johnson and mixologists Travis Nass and Kim Haasarud.

She's been in Denver promoting the book and posted a video on her blog from the Denver dinner Sept. 29th at ChoLon Bistro. If the plating is any indication of the taste, it's going to be a spectacular night.

There are still tickets available on the Goat Tour website (maybe not for long) for Stephanie Izard's private dinner at The Accidental Yard this Sunday with proceeds benefiting Share Our Strength -- tickets are $150 each. Eat well, come home with a full belly, a signed copy of Izard's new book and proceeds go toward ending kids hunger.
