The Interior: Dimly lit with florescent blue lights, a centered community table, and sweet jams creates an upbeat, casual, and cool atmosphere. The service at Delux is quality; relaxed, friendly and attentive -- a hard find with a place that serves food until 2am.

The Cost: One glass of wine, a roast beef slider and a tomato mozzarella salad came out to $11 before tax and tip. We repeat, $11 dollars, before tax and tip.

The Conclusion: With prices this awesome, the food could be eh and the service mediocre and we'd still be happy. Since this is far from the case -- the roast beef sliders with a horseradish cream and a tangy rosemary au jus were stellar and the female bartender was full of suggestions and fun-- we are the happiest of happy hour clientele.

Considering Delux is one of very few places to serve quality late night nosh, we know their reverse happy hour isn't due to desperation for business -- it serves to please their guests with affordable prices that will indefinitely keep us coming back for more. And that folks, easily makes for a "delux" case of happy hour hierarchy.

Overall grade: A
