Editor's Note: We spoke with Charlie Levy after this post was published and learned that, in fact, Bianco and Robson won't just be creating the  menu -- they'll be overseeing hiring and kitchen operations. Cool.

In case you haven't been paying attention, Phoenix is getting a new music venue called the Crescent Ballroom (you can read about it here). Phoenix music fans are pretty excited for the venue's October 3rd opening and it looks like Phoenix foodies have something to look forward to, as well.

Crescent creator Charlie Levy of Stateside Present has recruited Chris Bianco of the infamous Pizzeria Bianco and,
according to azcentral.com, Doug Robson of Gallo Blanco (woo-hoo!) to create a menu of 10 Mexican food inspired items that will be easy to consume while watching your favorite band. We have yet to see the menu but we're pretty sure there you won't find slices of crappy pizza or cheap hot dogs on that board.

And if you just happen to be curious about the food, the Crescent Ballroom's lounge will be open every day at 4 p.m.and according to Levy, admission will always be free.

I was told the lounge will be open from 4pm until 2am 7 days a week. Pretty cool. No word as yet on what drinks the lounge will serve or how late the kitchen will be open.
