Follow Friday: Phoenix Food Lovers With Charming Twitter Handles

Categories: Follow Friday

It's that time again. We've compiled a small but meaningful list of great Twitter accounts for any Phoenix foodie to follow. We were enchanted by the cleverness of these foodies' handles on Twitter. Rather than just using their first and last name (or some variation of such), they've used their noggins to come up with something a little different to help make them stand out of the little birdie crowd.

Joel LaTondress (@azhotdish) Joel LaTondress is either hinting at his attractiveness, really likes casseroles or both. He's learned to be an expert at cooking for one from his blog onefordinner.com. He's been working on his pop-up general store for foodies as of late, the Community Supported Provisions Program. Check out the food filled tweets at @azhotdish

Alexander (@FoodieBear) Great food + Big bear = Foodiebear. Who wouldn't adore something named foodiebear. The winking bear coffee background and the colorful profile pic paints the picture of a happy person behind those tweets. Foodiebear is a "food obsessed bear living in the land of scorpions and cowboys." We look forward to his artful photographs and experiences eating around the Valley of the Sun on the blog of the same name Foodiebear.

Rodney Hartwig (@TheLargWhiteMan) Rodney Hartwig chose a pretty plain name but it implies that he might know a little bit about eating. The feel of his profile pic doesn't quite fit the blue serene beach landscape design of his food blog Adventures in Cuisine: A Random Journey Into the World of Food, but we don't care. Random works for us for this "regular guy who is learning about food (and running a website) the old fashioned way, through trial, error and networking." Follow the @TheLargWhiteMan.
