Nikki Buchanan Leaves Up Agency for Aaron May

The new loaded dogs at Chase Field

A round-up of tasty morsels from Valley food blogs.

Nikki Buchanan blogged on The Wild Lavender that she has left her spot at Up Agency for a job as Aaron May's new in-house publicist.

Amy Martin from Phoenix Bites mentioned that Chase Field diners will be enjoying some new menu options soon. And Levy's Restaurants will be offering "extremely loaded" dogs (mac 'n' cheese and fritos, hot wing sauce and bleu cheese slaw, potato salad - awesome), an expanded gluten free menu (dogs, nachos and beer), more fruits and veg options, and more.

Linda Avery gave Pen & Fork her review of the 2011 James Beard nominated cookbook Heart of the Artichoke and other Kitchen Journeys by David Tanis.

Tanis is Chez Panisse's head chef six months out of the year. Pretty pictures, poetic writing and seasonal recipes that don't require fancy equipment fill the book. Here's a tip: We saw this title at the soon-to-close Paradise Valley Mall Border's location a few days ago for 50% off.

Hey metro Phoenix eaters, if you have a food blog or know of one we've missed, leave word in the comments section.
