Last Minute Passover Seder Reservations Still Available
sodahead.com Let my people go -- to a restaurant.
But after looking at the Passover menu for Eddie's House in Scottsdale, I'm thinking I know what I'm saying at the end of my seder:
Next year, in a restaurant.
If you're looking for a seder this year, I'm out of spots at my table -- and Havana Cafe's completely booked, too. But Eddie has a few spaces left tonight, if you don't mind waiting til after 8, and more availability at dinner time throughout the week.
The price is $44.95 for adults and $19.95 for children 12 and under, and along with a seder plate, charoset and all the matzo you can eat, the menu includes:
Gefilte Fish Salad with vine ripened tomato, red onion, field greens, baby cucumbers, balsamic vinaigrette.
Organic Tomato and Mozzarella Salad with basil pistou, shaved fennel in a lemon olive oil dressing
Grandma Carmen's Chicken Matzo Ball Soup
Mazza Plate with baba ganoush, olives, herb mascarpone, veggies
Slow Roasted Crispy ½ Chicken, Thyme Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes, Brussel Sprouts
Braised Beef Brisket with Potato Pancakes, Chunky Apple Sauce and Broccolini
Onion Encrusted Salmon with a Forest Mushroom Quinoa, Asparagus
Eddie's Coconut Almond Macaroons or Flourless Chocolate Cake or Bowl of Fresh Seasonal Fruit or Chocolate Pot du Crème
Dinner will be served tonight through April 25, 5 to 9 pm. To make a reservation at Eddie's call 480.946.1622.
And -- Eric Schaefer of ericeatsout.com blogging fame will be making matzo brei (think scrambled eggs with crackers, only way better) at Petite Maison at 10 this Friday night, April 22, for Staff Meal.
Have a restaurant seder we passed over? Let us know and we'll try to get the word out!
