One thing you learn, living in Phoenix, is that all salsa is not created equal. We are particularly partial to the salsa bar La Condesa. Want to save a buck? Try to make their Pecan Salsa at home.

INGREDIENTS:
-- ½ Cup Crema Mexicana (Mexican sour cream)
-- One can of chipotles in adobo sauce
-- Two Tablespoons of Pecans
-- Chips to serve with

METHOD:

1. In a mixing bowl place ½ cup of Crema Mexicana

2. Take two chipotles in adobo sauce out of the can and remove the seeds (add more then two if you like more heat) Place them into the mixing bowl with the Crema Mexicana

3. Place two tablespoons of pecans in a coffee grinder and grind them to an almost past, add to the mixing bowl
