​Well, that was quick.

Condolences are flying on Twitter and Facebook, after Sunshine Moon Peking Pub -- the newish Chinese spot that got good buzz from our former critic Michele Laudig and others -- abruptly announced today on its Facebook page that it's no more:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we sadly announce the closing of our restaurant tonight at 10 PM. We are so grateful for everyone's support and love. Please visit our other restaurant 5th and Wine. Thank you.

While it is sad that the restaurant failed and those employed there are out of jobs, I totally saw this coming. This is a horrible location for a restaurant, and it's completely off the beaten path. They need to utilize that space as a salon, tanning, cosmetic repair, or some other type of business that does not rely on walk in business.

When it opened I said it had two months. Anyone know how long it really was open?

A) It closed due to partnership issues, not due to location etc. B) It was open the week before Thanksgiving until Saturday.C) Way to be a negative douche-bag.
