Peoria Stadium sure holds a lot of hungry restaurant-goers.
Spring training is in full swing, and this food critic is betting that it won't take too many games before you baseball fans will get tired of all the beer and brats -- or at least all the brats. Looking for a place to chow down before first pitch or after the final inning? Read on.

Yesterday, I shared dining recommendations for North Scottsdale, and before that, Downtown Scottsdale. Today, we'll head west for some ideas if you're visiting Peoria Sports Complex, Maryvale Stadium, or Camelback Ranch.

With its contemporary American cuisine and swanky supper club vibe, Skye is one of the more upscale dinner options. A bit further afar, brand-new Litchfield's is the signature restaurant at the revamped Wigwam Resort, and features a farm-fresh menu created under the direction of James Beard Award-winning pizzaiolo Chris Bianco.

Got a craving for Asian? You're in luck. Hope Kee at the west side location of Lee Lee Oriental Grocery serves authentic Hong Kong-style Chinese in a no-frills atmosphere (don't miss the crispy fried garlic shrimp or roasted duck). Meanwhile, Satara Thai is known for its fragrant curries.

Pedro's is the place to go for down-home Mexican food, while Vogue Bistro brings French flair to Surprise, and Bella Luna Ristorante serves up homey Italian cuisine. Meanwhile, Mi Comida is a Valley gem where you can find authentic Ecuadorean food in a charming nook of a restaurant.
