Meghan Olesen: Caramelpalooza Candymakers

The caramel keeps on coming.... Today we serve up candymaker Meghan Olesen. We asked each chef for three one-line bios. Meghan sent three. We liked them all:

1. Meghan is a life-long Phoenician who dreams of pie and believes food is her soul.

2. Meghan is a pastry chef by trade who thinks that the science behind food is sometimes better than eating it.

3. Meghan is a food nerd who gets excited about guacamole in her bean burrito.

I ended up in the kitchen because I speak better with my hands.

My favorite dish to make is bacon

One dish I'm afraid to make is anything with live lobsters

My favorite kind of candy is a lemon drop.

Caramel should be eaten slowly.

I always brush my teeth after 9.
