Eating out is no guilty pleasure when it's for a good cause. And what better cause than the tragic trifecta of catastrophes in Japan? Phoenix area restaurants are supporting disaster relief efforts and you can help by opening your mouth.

Follow the jump for some prime spots to dine and donate.

Stingray Sushi
Stingray Sushi is currently offering the "Recovery Roll" at both their Scottsdale and Phoenix locations. At a cool $12 you get a sushi roll with spicy tuna, seared salmon, and avocado inside. Stingray has pledged that 70 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross.

Panda Express
Panda Express has launched its own fundraising efforts with in-house donation boxes. While there are no "buy this and part of the proceeds go to" type deals going on for Panda, the company has pledged to match 100 percent of donations collected at any participating store (including Hibachi-San and Panda Inn restaurants).

Roll in For Japan

We have updated information regarding this one-night collaboration among  Valley restaurants and businesses. You eat for a suggested $20 donation to the American Red Cross.

Organized by Hana Japanese Eatery, the "Roll in For Japan" event will include food from Hana, Barrio Cafe, Citizen Public House, Asahi Bakery, Tammie Coe, Sens and more. There will also be live entertainment such as Taiko drumming and giveaways from (so far) FnB, Matt Pool (of Matt's Big Breakfast fame) Red Hot Robot, Samurai Comics, House of Rice and Popchips.

The organizers are also asking for more restaurants to join in, and for someone to donate beverages (juice, soda, water, tea). The event is scheduled to take place at the Madison Event Center in downtown Phoenix on March 30 from 6 to 9 p.m.

And -- there will be an expedited line for Yelp-ers -- just show your Yelp icon on your mobile device and head on in.

You're totally correct: the shift in the Earth's crust was caused by fishing.

Mother nature hit Japan with a earthquake and tsunami because japan refuses to obey the laws and not hunt and kill whales that swin in protected waters. And no, I will not go to snottsdale and eat over priced sushi at stingray. Stingray and phoenixnewtimes can lick my sweaty sack.
