Valentine's Day is Almost Here. OMG Where Are You Dining?

Uh oh! You better hurry up and make reservations for Valentine's Day or you're going to be stuck pretending like you actually planned a romantic dinner for two at home, a cooking disaster waiting to happen. Besides, cleaning up the kitchen will take away from, ahem, business time. Here is a second look at dining ideas we've shared from around the Valley.

Wrigley Mansion Saturday February 12th or Monday the 14th while enjoying their his and hers pre-fixe dinner. Seating is from 5 to 9 p.m. $110 ++ per person. A complimentary bottle of sparking wine is included. 602-955-4079.

Latilla Restaurant at the seductive Boulders Resort will also be celebrating Valentine's Day with a his and her's menu February 12th through the 14th. The five course menu will end with a heart shaped chocolate cake for two. Seating times are from 5 to 8 p.m. $95 plus tax and 19% gratuity per person. 480-488-7317
 
Sassi will offer dinner for two February 12 thought the 14th. Highlights of the menu include pancetta-wrapped shrimp with a rosemary glaze, fresh pacific oysters and a chocolate masterpiece for dessert. $110 - $149 ++ for two people.  ZuZu will be serving their regular menu along with a special Valentine's Day pre-fixe menu. The unique dinner will be featuring Deviled Fried Oysters, Orange Braised Fennel, Beef Tenderloin and a Chocolate Truffle Tart for $60 ++ per person. $15 extra for beverage pairing. Take you sweetie out for a taste of the Arizona wild west at Bill Johnson's Big Apple. All Five locations are celebrating Valentine's Day with their 20oz Sweetheart Ribeye Steak. The heart-shaped steak is big enough for two and is served with salad and your choice of sides. The dinner special is just $25 ++ and will be served from 3 p.m. to close.
   
Enjoy an exotic three-course dinner on the patio at South Scottsdale's romantic Los Sombreros. Start your evening off with a cup of cream of cauliflower soup or an avocado salad then choose from one of four main course selections. Finish up with your choice of chocolate crepes, Kaluha creme brulee or plantanitos with Damiana liquor. Seating starts at 4 p.m. Monday, February 14th. $29.95++ per person. For an inexpensive Tex-Mex Valentine's Day meal, reserve your table at Ninfa's Mexican Kitchen in Glendale. Their special pre-fixe dinner features your choice of surf and turf skewers, mole rubbed filet mignon, or mahi mahi with mexican grits. Entree will be served with soup or salad and your choice of dessert. Served February 11 through the 14th. $25.99++ per person. Call 623-561-9800

Blanco's Taco + Tequila at the Borgata in Scottsdale is offering dinner for two for just $45 ++. You and your sweetie can chose from one appetizer, two entrées, and one dessert. They will even throw in a couple margaritas. Call 480-305-6692 for more details or to make reservations. 

If you and your date prefer burgers, hit up Zinburger at the Biltmore. $40++ will get you and your Valentine one appetizer, two burgers, two drinks, and one dessert to split. Try the decadent banana cream pie shake, a Chow Bella favorite. Call  602-424-9500 for more information.


And finally, if you want to add a little swank to your evening minus the extravagant price tag, head downtown to Cheuvont's. Chef Ryan Rivera  has created a savory Valentine's Day weekend pre-fixe dinner which includes a wild mushroom soup or feta salad, choice of filet mignon or Poulet Roulade, dessert and a glass of Schramsberg Mirabelle Brut Rose. $45++ per person.
