Five Places to Celebrate National Margarita Day

National Margarita Day is one that seems actually worthy of celebrating, although whomever chose to make it in Februrary didn't really capitalize on the possibilities such a holiday could have in the middle of the summer. If that were the case, there could've been a National Margarita Month.
Anyway, in observance of this solemn occasion, here are a few places to quench your thirst with the high-octane drink du jour.
1. The Mission
Go sweet with one of the blended margaritas, made with fresh fruit, or slurp up the Premarita Margarita, a mix of Partida Tequila and agave nectar.
2. Gallo Blanco
Fresh lime juice and Sauza Blanco Tequila make the Classico refreshing, but the Prickly Pear Margarita is where it's at. With a salted rim, it's a sweet and salty treat worthy of a second round.
Grab a seat at the cool patio bar and take your pick from eight different varieties. Particularly tasty is the Cadillac Margarita -- Chinaco Tequila, Cointreau, and lime and orange juice.
Given the exhaustive list of premium tequilas here, it's not surprising that they rock the margaritas here. The Casa Margarita is damn tasty, but if you're feeling adventurous, try the serrano-lime margarita for some kick.
5. Si Senor
Combining two of my favorite beverages, the Sangria Margarita at Si Senor is a delicious novelty that also helps quell the heat from the seriously spicy New Mexican cuisine here.
