We were ecstatic when we received word that Chandler will be hosting the Great American Barbecue and Beer Festival March 26th in the streets of historic downtown Chandler. Yes it's down the road a bit, but we couldn't wait to tell you about it. Note: this is not a barbecue competition; it's a festival. Let's not confuse this with the Downtown Chandler BBQ Throwdown (same promoter, different event). The festival will showcase the best of the best barbecue and team it up with plenty of Arizona crafted beer. This festival promises fun for the whole family with a kid zone, a pig racing contest, a Harley bike show, wing eating contest and live music from Reel Big Fish and the Dirty Heads. No cheesy cover bands for this event! Tickets are $10 per person. All food and drink will be sold by individual vendors on a cash basis. Stay tuned for more details.
