11 New Restaurants Announced at Scottsdale Quarter


​Along with the debut of a new Nike flagship store at Scottsdale Quarter this week came an announcement of the North Scottsdale mall's fall/winter 2010-2011 restaurant lineup. Eleven new restaurants are in the works, joining Oakville Grocery, Brio Tuscan Grill, and Primebar:

Coal Burger: coal-fired burgers, just like the name suggests, from the folks behind Grimaldi's Pizzeria. It'll be the first nationwide location.

Grimaldi's Pizzeria: another location of the New York-based, coal-fired pizza joint, which also has a restaurant in Old Town.

Menchie's Frozen Yogurt: self-serve fro yo with more than 100 rotating flavors.

Narcisse Champagne Lounge: an upscale, 7,500-square-foot bar devoted to bubbly, from the creators of Barrio Cantina & Grill, Tom Zummo and Todd Rosenberg.

Press Coffee Food Wine: a second location of the North Phoenix cafe and wine bar owned by TV personality Tram Mai.

Stingray Sushi: Sushi in a high-style setting, also found in Old Town and at Biltmore Fashion Park.

TK's Urban Tavern: contemporary American fare, craft cocktails, and wine.

Eddie V's Prime Seafood: a new home for the deluxe seafood restaurant.

Parc Central: contemporary international cuisine for lunch and dinner.

Tanzy: chef-driven American and Mediterranean cuisine.

True Food Kitchen: Sam Fox and Dr. Andrew Weil's health-centric dining concept.

I agree, sounds like a burger you dropped in the coals while cooking it then you feed it to your dog. Or something Santa leaves for the really bad kids. Coal Burger, not good.
