Joe's Farm Grill Introduces Dog Days of Summer for September

The 3-B: bacon, blue cheese, and Joe's Real BBQ sauce
Don't panic, hot dog lovers. You have all month to enjoy ten different varieties of specialty hot dogs that Joe's Farm Grill is rolling out today.

The hip Gilbert hangout started its "Dog Days of Summer" menu last year with a rotating lineup of 14 weenies -- logistically, that was tricky if you wanted to try them all. But this year, the 10 most popular ones are available everyday, through the month of September. Vegetarian versions of each one will be made with portobello mushroom instead of hot dogs.

Check out the photos by Jamie Mulhern that owner Joe Johnston sent over -- but beware your stomach growling! Holy cow.

The Asian: shredded carrot, bean sprouts, scallions, wasabi mayo, and teriyaki glaze

The Hawaiian: wrapped in ham, grilled, topped with mozzarella, bacon, and pineapple-serrano sauce

The Carolina: topped pulled pork and creamy cole slaw
The Sonoran: bacon wrapped, topped with farm beans, melted cheese, jalapeños, and sour cream
The Cordon Bleu: wrapped in smoked ham, swiss cheese, grilled and topped with a fried egg and dijon aioli
The Swedish: garlic mashed potatoes and lingonberry sauce
The Trailer Park: Cheez Whiz® and crumbled potato chips
The Reuben: sauerkraut, swiss cheese, and thousand island dressing
The Buffalo: carrots, celery, buffalo hot sauce and chunky blue cheese dressing

My girlfriend (who is a vegetarian) and I went to Joe's yesterday as she was excited that she could try some of these dogs as you have advertised that vegetarian versions made with portobello mushrooms are also available, but when we got to the window they had no idea what I was talking about and said they couldn't make her's that way. Is this something that was told to you or is it made up?

organic/locally produced and farmed. All over this!

Wow these look amazing! Great photography work, I want to eat these for lunch right now!
