Sophisticated Jello Shots
Gone are the days when it was acceptable to throw a box of jello in to a bottle of the cheapest vodka you can find and serve it in a dixie cup to your friends after they get done doing kegs stands. We are far to classy for that. Which is why we love
the sisters over at the Jelly Shot Test Kitchen for put a grown up spin on one of our favorite college novelties. They have been taking our favorite cocktails, such as the Fuzzy Navel and the Cosmo, and turning them in to the classiest jello shots we've ever seen. Check out their blog here

Wow! I wish I was down in Arizona right now. I'm a vegetarian and Cuban food is something usually reserved only for dreams (or disasters in my home kitchen). Speaking of chili, libations and vegetarian food, have you ever tried champagne and chili together? It sounds like the strangest food pairing but it really works. As a wine sommelier I've been keeping track of awesome food pairings at http://winefolly.com Havana Patio Cafe will be visited next time I'm down there, thanks for the mention.
