Brunch Party Rocks Caffe Boa, Starting Saturday

This is what I ate at Caffe Boa's brunch a few months back, and what I'd order again at this weekend's brunch party.

As if I wasn't already a fan of weekend brunches (mimosas, yes!), and of Tempe's Caffe Boa, the joint's going to get a little (or maybe a lot) crazier this weekend, with the launch of a new Saturday "brunch party" called INDULJ.

Party promoter Brendan Medugno is bringing in DJs, circus performers, belly dancers, and who knows what else, to keep revelers entertained. They're promising red velvet ropes, a dancefloor, and "dancing on the tables," even.

Along with the restaurant's regular brunch menu, there will be specials such as fresh oysters and caviar, as well as bottomless mimosas for $18. If you really want to be a high roller, there will be champagne bottle service as well.

The shindig runs from noon to 5 p.m., and admission is free.
