Desert Botanical Beer Garden
Friday September 24, ditch the little ones and put your drinking shoes on. The Desert Botanical Gardens will be hosting a night of beer and music with their Beer Garden event. Stroll through the gardens while sampling craft beers from Arizona breweries or rock out to one of five different live music acts. Tickets for the event are $50 for members and $55 for non-members. Save $5 is you purchase yours before September 10th, a good idea since these events tend to sell out. A German inspired dinner will be available for an additional $25. This event is 21+. Body Gardens
Ron Sveden got the shock of his life when he went to the doctor prepared to be diagnosed with lung cancer and ended up much positive news. It wasn't cancer at all, just a pesky little pea seedling! Doctors speculate that while Sveden was eating raw peas, one must have accidentally gone down the wrong tube and was then lodged in his lung where the little guy decided it would make a nice home and take root.
