Savory Cupcakes? Check Out Tuck Shop's New Menu

Last night was the unveiling of Tuck Shop's new summer menu, which I'm eager to try.

Beer-battered cheese curds, watermelon salad with ricotta salata and basil, and pork t-bone with summer squash gnocchi, grilled green beans, and peach salsa all sound delicious, but the most intriguing new items are the savory cupcakes.

Pictured above, from left, they are "red velvet" (beet and grain mustard cake, horseradish whipped cream, pink peppercorns), "lox" (onion and dill cake, black olive cream cheese, smoked salmon and capers), and "elote" (corn and jalapeno cake, garlic aioli, cotija cheese and chili powder).
