Drink Up... or Not.
According to a new study done by none other then the French, it turns out that people who drink moderate amounts of alcohol are still indeed healthier, but it may have nothing to do with the actual alcohol. After researching 150,000 men and women, the results showed that people who have a glass or two of wine a day generally have better exercise habits and eat healthier then those who don't drink or drink in excess. Receipt Guilt
A new concept in counting calories is in full swing at Pacific Northwest fast food chain Burgerville. The chain restaurant, already known for using local and in-season products whenever possible, is now posting the nutritional information, such as calories and fat content, right on the receipt. The new receipts will also offer you "Tips" on cutting calories, such as swapping a salad for fries. Take a look at the new receipt here.
