LGO Hospitality's Bob Lynn and Craig DeMarco didn't want to stick to an Italian menu anymore, so they rechristened Radio Milano as Radio Cafe. The restaurant reopens tonight after a three-week hiatus for renovations.

Sushi's on the menu now, thanks to chef Takeshi Hosoda. Among Hosoda's creations are sweet potato with Japanese barbecue sauce, and spicy tuna with ponzu.

The rest of the menu will be a mix of old Radio Milano standbys (deviled eggs, celery Caesar) and some new additions like a lobster roll, shortrib sandwich, and seafood poke salad.

This new incarnation of the restaurant sounds much more loungey, with an emphasis on the "spicy music" (not sure what that means, but we'll soon find out) and the expanded beverage program, which will include draft beers, wines from California, Spain, and Argentina, and signature cocktails.

Radio Cafe, located at 3939 E. Campbell, will open daily at 4 p.m. with a sushi happy hour, and will serve dinner until midnight.
