Do you ever get a midday craving for a restaurant that's only open evenings? Or a nighttime urge to eat at a favorite lunch spot? Two new-ish local restaurants have just expanded their hours.

For the past four months, chef-owner Aaron Chamberlin has been sticking to dinner-only service at St. Francis, but he's finally introduced lunch for the new year. It's available from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

Meanwhile, chef-owners Brandon Crouser and Cullen Campbell quietly opened Crudo Cafe five months ago, serving breakfast and lunch from the small open kitchen attached to Steven Paul Salon in Old Town Scottsdale.

While they've been floating their sample dinner menu of raw Italian seafood dishes (which inspired the restaurant's name) for a couple months, they've finally gotten their liquor license (former Lisa G owner Lisa Giungo will be working the bar) and will begin dinner service this Saturday.

As if Crouser, Campbell, and Giungo weren't enough combined star power, dessert guru Tracy Dempsey is in charge of sweet stuff, too.

Dinner hours at Crudo Cafe will be 5 to 10 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday.
