San Gabriel Kicks Off 2010 With Dishes For Dollars

If you're not familiar with San Gabriel, this neighborhood joint replaced Bombay Spice's Phoenix location in mid-2009. Admittedly, we were bummed when we headed to Glendale Ave. for some of Bombay's savory chickpea ceviche and ended up with a plate of chips and salsa instead, but San Gabriel's build-your-own guacamole helped mitigate our disappointment.
San Gabriel will also be hosting a weekend brunch from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with dishes ranging from $4-6 each.
