Opening Next Week: Long Wong's at the Firehouse

• <p>The new place is trying to establish itself as totally associated with the classic Long Wong's with signs like "WE'RE BACK" and "since 1980." <br /> Well they finally opened their doors and I had some wings. They are NOT WORTHY of the Long Wong's name, much less "famous award-winning wings," and the NT Best Of Phoenix emblem on any advertising needs to be REVOKED, such as in the Collegiate Coupon Book (Spring 2010).<br /> The wings are scrawny, dinky, overcooked and overpriced!!!<br /> Read about my experience on YELP.<br /> </p>

• <p>Wow, the Firehouse restaurant was the place my grandparents used to take me out for dinner in Tempe when I was a kid, certainly teh fanciest plave I'd ever been. And Long Wong's was the first bar in Tempe I ever drank at. What a great combo...</p>
