The past six months have been a blur.

It was only back in July that the newly formed non-profit organization Devour Phoenix, a coalition of local indie restaurants affiliated with Local First Arizona, was making news with its plans to launch a high-profile culinary festival that would replace West of Western at the Phoenix Art Museum.

Now, Devoured Phx Culinary Classic is practically around the corner.

Scheduled for March 13 and 14, tickets are already on sale, with an advance purchase discount.

The regular cost of admission will be $75 per person, per day. But if you're an early bird, you can get in on the action for $65 per day, or $90 for a two-day pass. It's sure to be a lot of eating -- participating restaurants include Barrio Cafe, Estate House, Christopher's Crush, Cibo, Ticoz, Nine 05, Cowboy Ciao, Modern Steak, Green, and others.

So far, Wall Street Journal food writer Raymond Sokolov is scheduled to conduct wine seminars, while brewmaster Jim Reiha will guide beer pairings. A spirits seminar is also in the works, as are cooking demonstrations on an exhibition stage.

Stay up to date on the latest developments by following @devourphoenix on Twitter. Call 866-977-6849 to purchase tickets.
