A delectable red from Pillsbury Wine Company.
We're headed into Wednesday night, and that means the Downtown Phoenix Public Market on Central Ave. will be opening in less than an hour. From 4-8 p.m. this evening, the market is hosting two free wine tastings.

Sam and Dana Pillsbury of Pillsbury Wine Company will be pouring wines from their Arizona vineyard. Sam's an award-winning director, and former co-owner of Southern Arizona's Dos Cabezas winery. Look for their pouring station in the neighboring Urban Grocery and Wine Bar.

Keeling-Schaefer Vineyards will also be offering samples of their Grenache, Chardonnay and Syrah in the grocery.

We know free wine is a pretty good excuse to get your booty down to the Phoenix Public Market. But if you're looking for holiday goodies or party supplies, don't forget to check out the open-air market's wares, which include Double Check Ranch beef, chocolate-walnut cakes and Dr. Hummus' pita chips & dip.
